Colt Announces Revamp and Upcoming Release
In celebration of their 40th year as a trusted name in erotic products, COLT Studio Group announced yesterday that they have revamped and recently scheduled the release of their very first full-feature movie under the Olympus Studio line. The recently shot feature has not yet been titled, but the director Roland Dane and executive producer John Rutherford have a December 2006 release date planned.

“Roland and I have been close for over 7 years since we first met on the set of a Falcon International movie in Budapest. Roland was hired as my translator and after sitting next to him for a few hours I quickly noted that he encompassed a lot more than just good looks and excellent translation abilities,” says John Rutherford. The rest is history as they say. Roland then starred in John Rutherford’s award-winning two-part feature Out of Athens.”
Roland made his directorial debut for Studio 2000, but has recently returned “home” under Rutherford’s familiar wings. Dane says, “I have had nothing but the utmost respect for John and his team. From our very first days in Budapest, to our shooting in the U.S., I have always taken note on John’s ability to effectively lead his team and his business successfully. I admire him and have always known we would be working together again.”

According to the studio, Roland’s first movie with COLT Studio Group, under the Olympus Studio line, will be very special. It features a story about two American tourists traveling abroad who encounter dangerous abductors taking them through a journey of the underground sexual life of Europe. Roland and John decided that real-life boyfriends and Buckshot Men Danny Roddick and Alex Chandler would star in the movie creating a synergy between the American and all-new international line.
